Configuring MySQL on Windows and connect using JDBC

1. Download MySQL Community server for Windows from

Install and configure MySQL to setup a root and password.

2. Download MySQL GUI Tools for Windows from

Create a table under test schema.

3. Download the MySQL JDBC Driver from

4. Create a project in Eclipse or any other Java editor. Include the MySQL JDBC Driver tar within the project. Copy the following code to test the connection:
